[Seniorwomen] BLRC Golf Tournament

Hi Guys and Girls,

You all should have heard about the BLRC Golf Tournament by now on June
15th.

Quite a few people have approached me and said they would either like to
play, volunteer, or sponsor a hole or prize.  Unfortunately this has
typically been on a Saturday after the games and i have been a couple of
beers in and cannot remember who has committed.

So for those who intend on taking part in any way, please send me an email
to confirm so i can start gathering a list.

If you intend on playing, please let me know if you will be bringing a 4
ball or if you would like to join another group.

 

This is a huge fundraiser for the club, and this year we have reduced the
price and increased the meal (to a Steak instead of a Burger) as we want to
attract more of our current players.

So guys and girls, 

Attached is the info regarding this Year's BLRC Golf Tournament.

 

This has typically been dominated by the Alumni and Twilighters with a few
four balls made up of current players.  That is going to change this year!
The price has been reduced to attract more current players, the dinner has
been changed from a burger to a steak dinner (included in the price) and the
beer cart is going to be overflowing with extra cold beer and liquor.

 

If you played in this tournament before, you know it is a great day out and
you should definitely be playing again this year.  If you have never had the
opportunity to experience it, you should definitely get a four ball together
and make a day of it.

 

This might be a great opportunity to take your boss out for the day (they
will probably pay!) or bring a parent or friend who has never been to the
rugby club before and show them the people you dedicate most of your life
to.  We have players of all ability that take part, from Doug Breadon who
hopes to turn pro this year despite only playing a few times a year to Tyler
James who plays every week in Spring and Summer and somehow never manages to
get any better!  You either got it or you don't!

 

We had a few groups made up from the women's team last year and we would
love to build on that, the ladies proved once again that anything the guys
can do, the ladies can generally do better!  (Rugby and Golf!)

So let's get the conversations started about who you think you could listen
to for 5 hours on a Friday afternoon.

 

For those who don't know anything about the game but still want to get
involved, we are always in need of volunteers for the day and it will get
you a few beers and a nice steak dinner on a sunny Friday afternoon.
