<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">Vancouver, BC: The British Columbia Rugby Union, the Provincial Sport governing body for the sport of rugby in BC, is seeking a contractor who is passionate about the development of girls and women’s rugby. Working directly with the Provincial Coach & Development Manager; the successful contractor will possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills required to network with coaches, athletes, volunteers, staff and the general public.</div>

<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">The British Columbia Rugby Union, Youth Girls Rugby Development Officer contract will require an individual who ideally can:</div>
<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">•<SPAN style="WHITE-SPACE: pre" class=Apple-tab-span> </SPAN>Work with clubs and schools to establish strategic initiatives related to developing the game for girls and women. </div>
<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">•<SPAN style="WHITE-SPACE: pre" class=Apple-tab-span> </SPAN>Establish a defined period work plan, consistent with BC Rugby programs including regional rugby strategic priorities and initiatives.</div>
<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">•<SPAN style="WHITE-SPACE: pre" class=Apple-tab-span> </SPAN>Develop relationships with relevant schools and clubs to promote and grow rugby as a school and community sport.</div>
<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">•<SPAN style="WHITE-SPACE: pre" class=Apple-tab-span> </SPAN>Deliver courses, clinics, workshops to community / school based coaches. </div>
<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">•<SPAN style="WHITE-SPACE: pre" class=Apple-tab-span> </SPAN>Assist in the recruitment and retention of referees, coaches and volunteers for girls and women’s rugby.</div>
<div style="MARGIN: 0px; FONT: 14px Arial">•<SPAN style="WHITE-SPACE: pre" class=Apple-tab-span> </SPAN>Assist with BC Rugby programs as requested.</div>
