hello blrc ladies, ( excuse the alll lower case email, I am chicken pecking this msg and its cramping my wrist already lol....)<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Just thought I would bring everyone up to date on my hand injury from saturdays 2cnds game. </div><div>I have effectively shattered my hand with two major spiral breaks and another "clean" break at the base of my middle finger leaving my third metacarple completely unattached. In addition to this I managed to fracture my pinky and one knuckle ( lucky me!)</div><div>This is sadly the third time that I have broken the bones in this hand and I will be getting surgury yet again on it in the coming weeks to repair the stripped pins and have plates put in to straighten out my fingers. Needless to say that I am done for this year and summmer and am unsure of when I will be able to play again.</div><div><br></div><div>I was just getting back into rugby after nearly a year off and am extreamely dissapointed in the timing and severity of this injury. I wish I could have ended this year on a higher note. </div><div>I have played for burnaby since I was 13 years old, thats nearly 13 years, and I have never been so hungry to compete as I am now that I am once again out of the game. It is one of the hardest things to do is watch from the sidelines. This will truly be a tough few months to be a by-stander but that being said I will relish knowing that you ladies are dialing in on a successfull end to a fantastic year. I hope to be around for every final game left in the year, and to see you girls litterally show the league what it takes to be champions. There was nothing more that I wanted this year than another chance to give Velox a taste of what true hard nosed rugby is like. I will settle for getting healed up and supporting you all in any way that you need leading into the end of the season. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Keep your eyes on the prize, and dont rest for a second till that trophy is at your lips once again.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Feds </div><div>( looking forward to some badass rugby)</div> </div></body>
