Thirds lost 18-28 to Brit-Lions, at home, with tries scored by Mike Stewart, Murk Toorenburgh and Ken Eng. Chris MacLaren kicked one conversion.
Seconds beat Gisons 45-22, at home, with Tyler Lavoie leading the way with three tries. Single try scorers were Frank Suchodolski, Neil Neugebauer, John Decaire and Tony Hunt. Tony also kicked five conversions and one penalty goal.
Firsts beat Brit-Lions 18-13, at home, with a try late in the second half from Frank Suchodolski. Chris MacLaren scored the only other try. Tony Hunt kicked one conversion and one penalty goal, while Jeff Lundgren kicked the other penalty goal.
Premiers beat Brit-Lions 39-27 (7 tries to 4), at home, with single tries scored by Dick Kanazawa, Denis Marsten, Hywel Williams, Pat Riordan and Chris Arnold. Mark Wilkenson scored a pair of tries. It was a good thing that everyone was scoring tries so that Jeff Lloyd could practise his kicking, he only managed to kick two conversions.
Women beat UVic 25-12, at home, with single tries from Karyne Steele, Jen Cary and Julia Sugawara, and two tries from Cheryl McLellan.
Also thanks everyone who came out to the club fundraiser, or bought tickets to the Shark Club on Saturday night. The function was a big success and enjoyed by all who attended.
