Women lost 3-15 to Nanaimo in Nanaimo. Julia Sugawara kicked a penalty goal.
3B’s lost 20-29 to Meralomas at home. Jason Cain and Garry Henrny scored two tries each.
3A’s beat SFU 37-24 in an exhibition game at home. Berril Perks, Paul Correia and Stefano Mastromonaco scored one try each. Joe Lee and Sean McWhinnie scored one try each. Shayne McCoy kicked one conversion. Firsts beat JBAA 27-24 in James Bay. Doug Whidden, Raineil de Guzman and Tyler James scored one try each. Jamie LEvchuk kicked three conversions and two penalty goals.
Premiers lost 25-29 to JBAA in James Bay. Chris Landry and Marco Agostini scored one try each. James Read scored one try and kicked two penalty goals and two conversions.
On Sunday
U-14 (Tier I Div. A) beat Cowichan 76-5 at home. David Dragoni, Sam MacDonald, Andrew Travis, Blackie Vaivaka and Diego Salgado scored one try each. Nathan Wong and Zack Loftus scored thee tries each. Travis Baker kicked six conversions.
No score was reported for the other U-14 team.
U-16 lost 5-38 to Capilano at home.
