This coming Saturday is the BLRC season opener…
Although we are away this weekend, a large number of supporters are expected to make the trip to White Rock to cheer on the players in the first games of the season. All three men’s teams are heading to Bayside to start the 05-06 Spray League. The women will also be facing Bayside for the first time as the Bayside women are in their first year in the Premier Division. Although there were wins and losses on both sides, Bayside held the upper hand last year, so expect to see Burnaby come out hard in order to shut down the home side and to clear the summer cobwebs. Game times are 11:30, 1:00, and 3:00 for the senior mens teams and 11:30 for the women. Come on out and support the Blue and White in their season opener.
Also taking place this Saturday is the Second Annual President’s Funbus Mystery Tour. There will be a bus leaving the clubhouse at 7:00 pm for parts unknown. If you are interested in being part of this wild ride contact Simon Smolden for details.
