The Grey Cup is coming this November 27th and there is going to be a party taking place at the Burnaby Lake Club House to benefit BC Wrestling and the Burnaby Lake Rugby Club. Read on for more details…
The party is taking place at the clubhouse and doors open at 2:00 pm.

History:
The impetus for this fundraising event came from Andy Laliberte, an ALS victim who spent many years in a variety of sports. He wanted to give something back to sports programs and the individuals who participated in them. A scholarship was begun in his name to provide financial support to BC High School wrestlers who needed funding to travel to national competitions. In addition, he wanted to provide junior rugby players with an opportunity to travel and play rugby in BC. Andy attends this event every year, and we pray that he will be around for yet another Grey Cup event.
