Feb 2nd will be a BIG day for our club as we have the Icelandic Exiles coming to play at Burnaby Lake Rugby Club. This is the 1st stop on their North American tour and we are looking to play them in 2 games(12pm + 200pm kickoffs) and have a Thor-esque sendoff for them that night at the clubhouse. There will be a formal banquet afterwards in the Mohawk Room and we are expecting a big BLUE + WHITE day at the club. All Men’s players are expected to take be available on this day for one of the games. If you are one of the players taking part in the Men’s or U-20 McKechnie Cup competition and are named to play for the FVRU that day, the McKechnie Cup matches will take precedence.
