A very big thank you to all of the BLRC members who volunteered their time and energy to the National Festival held at the club over the last 5 days. It was wonderful to see the weather cooperate with such a well organised tournament. Jamie Levchuk as chair of the organizing committee produced an excellent event and deserves our thanks as do the other BLRC members who sat on the organizing committee.
Any Burnaby Lake/Twilighter/Blob member who attended and participated in the event should have been proud of their association with our organization. The feelgood factor was massive and we need to maintain this as we lead into the season.
It was a real pleasure and proud moment to listen to Graham Brown, Rugby Canada’s COO, complimentary comments about Burnaby Lake Rugby Club.
Players/Administrators/Coaches from other clubs in BC and the other Canadian Provinces were clearly impressed with what Burnaby Lake has to offer and this can only help make our club a place where people want to be.
