With the Christmas holidays behind us the rugby season is starting up again…
This Sunday (Jan 22nd) is the opening weekend of the second half of the 05-06 rugby season. After some hard work by many of our players over the break we are looking forward to the Premier season. We are going to be playing host to three Abbotsford teams. In the first half we faced this club and came away with two very convincing wins in the lower divisions but were unable to top them in at the top. With the Premier season comes a chance to improve on the results of the first half and the guys will certainly be looking to do just that. The Three B’s will be joining the league for the second half again this year and start with a game at Burnaby against the newly combined Douglas-Pocomo United. The two third division games will be starting at 11:30 am while the First Division game will be kicking off at 1:00 pm. The feature game will be at 2:30 pm. This is the only group of Sunday games, the remainder of the season will be played on Saturday’s as usual.
