Sorry this is so late, but here are the scores for Burnaby Lake Rugby Club for the weekend of Saturday November 9, 2002.
Junior “A” beat Brit-Lions 8-5 at home, with a single try from Sean McWhinnie. Alex Clulow kicked one penalty goal.
Junior “B” are finished last week.
Women beat Nanaimo 15-12 in Nanaimo, with one try from Paula Grewal and two from Julia Sugawara.
Third division lost 5-22 to Surrey at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary, with the only points coming from a Sean Eckhart try.
The Second division game was cancelled Thursday due to a lack of players.
Firsts lost 18-19 to Surrey at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary, with single tries from Joel Reid and Michael Wong. Damein Lane kicked two penalty goals and Tony Hunt kicked one conversion.
Premiers had a bye.
On Sunday U-16 Boys defaulted to Bayside. Bayside were kind enough to lend two players so that the game could be played anyways. Bayside won 30-5, with Alan Tang scoring the solo try for Burnaby.
The two U-18 Girls teams co-hosted a jamboree at home.
