Now that Thanksgiving is over we can get back to rugby…
This weekend the BRLC Senior Mens teams will be heading to the valley to face Abbotsford. All three teams are facing their old rivals; 11:30 for the thirds, 1:00 for the seconds and 3:00 for the firsts. Abbotsford has been a strong force in the FVRU for the past few years and this year are getting to try their hand at some of the stronger Vancouver clubs. They have had a rough start to the season but are surely looking to regain their past form. This won’t be the weekend for them. Burnaby is coming off a two week rest and will not be hindered by the early season bumps and bruises.
The Women are facing long time rivals and current Premier Champions Capilanos. The game will be held at Burnaby this coming Saturday. As always the women are looking strong; this game should be a good indicator of the season to come.
Make sure you come out to practice this week and work of all the holiday grub. Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30, you know the place.
