U-19 Boys beat Brit-Lions 17-13 at home. Matt George, Sean Carmichael and
Mauro Perizzolo scored tries. Brendan Fairs kicked one conversion.
The Women tied SFU 17-17 at home. Julia Sugawara, Karyne Steele and Suelyn
Wirth scored tries. Julia also kicked a conversion to tie the game in
injury time.
Thirds beat Brit-Lions 17-11 at home. Neil Neugebauer and Aaron Curvino
scored tries. Jeff Lundgren kicked two conversions and a penalty goal.
Seconds beat Brit-Lions 14-12 at home. Doug Whidden scored the only try.
Jamie Levchuk kicked three penalty goals.
Firsts beat Brit-Lions 35-5 at home. Ryan Neufeld, Pat Riordan, Cory
Turkington, Adam McCluskey and Matt Young scored tries. Ryan Banks scored
two tries. Kory Kawaguchi went ‘O-fer’ kicking.
On Sunday the U-16 Boys lost 14-20 to Abbotsford away. Tyler Rumbley scored
two tries that were both converted by Robert Manning.
Last Sunday the U-16 Boys beat Ridge Meadows 22-0. Ben Marshall scored a
try that was converted by Corey Brauer. Robert Manning converted his own
try and kicked a penalty goal. There was a third try, but the coach can’t
remember who scored it.
