Starting at 10:00 am the BLRC will be playing Vancouver opponents, the Meralomas. The U-19 Boys kickoff the day with a 3-2 record with a couple of hard games remaining. At 11:30 the third division team plays and will be hoping to continue their winning ways after defeating Ex-Brits last weekend. The second division team has only lost once this season and will be pressing to keep it that way in their game that begins at 1:00 pm. After sealing their spot in the Premier competition next half the first division team will definately not be taking it easy this weekend. The next two weeks will be oportunities to send a message. The first division game will be kicking off at 2:30.
After drawing against the undefeated SFU the women will be looking to take their frustrations out on Douglas. They will be facing their longtime rivals at Queens park at 11:30 am.
Tomorrow night the clubhouse is hosting the annual Halloween Party/Dance. Come on out and join the festivities after watching a successful day of rugby. Costumes are mandatory and tickets cost a low $5.
Rugby continues on Sunday with the U-16 team playing Surrey in Surrey. Mini rugby will be having a practice at our home fields on Sunday morning.
