I am getting extremely restless and excited about the upcoming season. We
have tremendous challenges ahead of us in 2015. From the Prems defending
their championship to our first venture into the First division we will
need a huge contribution from everyone.

Just some thoughts before we get started on Tuesday. The first of which is,
let's get started on Tuesday. As many of you know, it is my belief that
important games are won in January. Many teams train hard in the good
weather of the pre-season but these gains can get washed away by the winter
rains. As long as you can make it to practice safely we will be training.
The excuse we hear most often at this time of year is "I am not ready to
train yet" presumably due to poor fitness from the holidays. Avoiding
practice because you are not fit is like trying to spend your way out of
debt or saying that you are too fat to diet.

For the newer players I have plagiarized quotes especially for you.

We need everyone to be present and committed to getting better, whether you
are a newbie or a gnarled vet or somewhere in between. Maybe more important
than believing in yourself or having courage is simply to practice
persistence. That is, keep coming out regularly and eventually you will
accomplish things. Hey, it has worked for me! In the meantime
